The International Conference “Current Issues in Court Law” is one of the foremost events in the Ukrainian legal community. It focuses on examining the most pressing questions regarding the development of the judicial system, justice, judicial practice, and legal regulation both within Ukraine and abroad. The conference is co-organized by leading university departments in Ukraine, professional associations, and international partners.

Following the conference each year, the conference proceeding “Court Law Review”, is published. It contains peer-reviewed articles that address modern problems and trends in the development of court law, justice, and judicial practice in Ukraine and beyond. The published works cover a broad range of contemporary topics, including:

  • Judicial system reform and safeguarding human rights in court proceedings
  • Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods
  • The interplay between national and international judicial systems
  • Innovative approaches to court administration and improving the efficiency of judicial proceedings
  • Specific features of law enforcement in the face of contemporary challenges

The editorial board of this collection includes leading Ukrainian and international experts from Poland, Lithuania, Austria, Germany, the Balkan countries, and others. This international composition promotes a comprehensive analysis of court law issues, and adherence to a double-anonymized peer review process ensures the scholarly novelty and quality of submitted materials.

Academics, judges, attorneys, civil servants, and practitioners contribute to the collection, offering original research and practical recommendations on improving the judicial system and enhancing the effectiveness of judicial proceedings. The collection is published in English, ensuring broad international reach and encouraging active dissemination of research findings.

Through this collaborative effort, “Court Law Review” serves as a valuable resource for both the academic community and legal practitioners, providing comprehensive material for further research and legislative development, as well as serving as a platform for expertise exchange at both the domestic and international levels.
